Covid-19: reopening a hotel, make the right decision

Although hotels were not among the ERP whose administrative closure was made compulsory by the decree of March 14, 2020, the sluggish demand linked to the confinement combined with the simplicity of resorting to short-time working led most hoteliers to conclude that a closed hotel costs less than one that is open without customers.

Despite the end of the lockdown on May 11, with tourist and business activity remaining subdued, the question of when to reopen remains.
